INGREDIENTS
1-1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
1 teaspoon garlic powder
2 eggs, beaten
1 can of beer
1/2 cup oil (for frying)
5 green or red tomatoes, sliced 1/2 inch thick
Mix flour, seasonings, eggs and beer into a batter. Dip and fry the slices of tomato for 5 minutes on each side. Serve with plain yogurt.
